Only one can stop you!

If you are not willing to learn, no one can help you.
If you are determined to learn, no one can stop you.

If you are not willing to learn, no one can help you.
If you are determined to learn, no one can stop you.

Quotes are nice and time and time again really useful as repetition is a key factor in recovering from brainwashing and when we need to rewire our brain from old patterns still affecting our day-to-day life.

But in the second line of this quote, “If you are determined to learn, no one can stop you” a menacing monster hides in disguise. That is our “second” nature or ego if you will. It is always there in the background of our goodwill even when we do the things we do to change our mindset for the better.

To me, it’s the toughest thing to live with because it’s always ready to spoil the party with self-criticism, self-pity, using negative old patterns as a weapon.

That is why healing is tough because we’re not running against a bunch of other great athletes: we’re competing against our “self” — and he’s willing to trip us up to win!

Ultimately, only one can stop you: yourself!
